Supportive Supervision for Registered
Clinical Social Work Interns
You did it! You're on your way to practicing the skills you learned in grad school. You should feel proud of yourself and all of your hard work.
When you are new to the field, it is so essential to have a supervisor who is supportive and knowledgeable. Also, during the next few years it will be incredibly important to lean on your support system because your work as a clinician will have its ups and downs. The work we do as clinicians can be extremely tough, but it is also absolutely rewarding.
Supervision will help set you up to feel prepared and confident as you actively pursue licensure. It will also equip you to navigate the field of clinical social work and help you further discover what areas you are truly passionate about and who your ideal clients are.
